BETTY BUSCH, ARTISTIC DIRECTOR & CONDUCTOR
Betty believes that "Musical expression is necessary for a whole life. There's nothing like the joy shared in singing together." In 2002, she was awarded a Woman of Achievement Award from Oregon State University to honor her work with Jubilate! Betty has recently served as the Director of Music at United Methodist Church in Corvallis, and teaches private French horn and vocal students. As a performer, Betty has played French horn professionally, has sung with the Portland based Choral Cross Ties, has performed with the Corvallis Repertory Singers and has recently appeared in Into the Woods at the McMinnville Gallery Theater.. |

LUCY WATTS, PIANIST & ACCOMPANIST
Lucy has been Jubilate!'s accompanist from the very beginning. She is also an accompanist for the Heart of the Valley Children's Choirs. These have given her the opportunity to perform at choir festivals nationally and worldwide. Lucy has a full studio of piano students and is a leader in the Linn Benton Oregon Music Teachers Association. She has also enjoyed many diverse performing opportunities such as playing in a rock band in the '80's, and singing in the a cappella vocal groups Four in Hand and Absolute. |

DIANE McGRATH, PRESIDENT
Diane McGrath has tried out all sorts of musical instruments in her life (piano, violin, guitar, trumpet, recorder, cello, and marimba) and has played balalaika in a Russian orchestra. She has sung in church choirs, high school and college choruses, and the feminist Miss Safman's Ladies Choir. She moved to Corvallis in 2006 upon retiring from the Kansas State University College of Education faculty. She immediately joined Jubilate! and found that the music and the people bring great joy. Her other major social commitment is to the Sustainability Coalition. |
